September 2017: 15 years have passed since BK won a contract for 10,000 convertible sofas to be produced in five years for the NOVOTEL chain of the ACCOR group, the first hotel group in Europe. Starting with this project, BK becomes a preferred supplier for the ACCOR HOTELS group and in fifteen years, produces more than 40,000 convertible sofas for over 500 hotels of different brands belonging to the French chain all over the world, including Ibis, Thalassa , Mercure, Pullman, Sofitel, and MGalery, in addition to Novotel.
Custom-designed convertible models as well as BK catalogue models are produced. The types requested are wide-ranging and include sofas and armchairs that can be converted into seven bed sizes: from a single 70 cm bed to a 180 cm double bed, also in the twin version with two single independent beds in one sofa.
